Originally from Michigan, Emily studied Musical Theatre at Oakland University and received her BFA with high honors. She was a teacher for many local studios and high schools during her years of study and still returns to help the community.
She is big fan of Coffee, Corgis, and Books. And when she's not reading scores or scripts, she loves a good fantasy or sci-fi novel - she dreams of one day becoming a published author.
While in Michigan, Emily grew up in the competition dance world training in conventions around the Midwest. She has had the opportunity to dance for The Detroit Dolls, under choreographer Lesley Kay who worked on the movie OZ, and perform for Motor City Movement- A Detroit dance concert to bring dancers together to celebrate the diversity of movement from the area. After graduation, she hit the ground running, and spend 4 years with the Walt Disney Company. She performed on multiple ships and even Disney Tokyo. Her final contract gave the opportunity to work with the best in the biz on the opening company of the award winning Beauty and the Beast with Connor Gallagher.
Now, happily living in NYC, she's enjoying working exclusively in the Tri-state area.
