Along side Actor Reboot, this summer saw the start of a "Back to basics" series for beginning and intermediate dancers in NYC.  Focusing on small group classes for those needing a more personalized approach - with no combos or cameras!

Dance and Theatre educators are the reason we all found a love for the arts.  Emily's style of teaching combines a strong understanding of technique and strength, while also believing in the power of storytelling.  At the base of it all we are sharing our love and creative joy with an audience. She has also worked to include those who may not feel they have access to the arts, through outreach and scholarship programs.  All levels should be  welcomed and celebrated.
Emily is a well known Choreographer and Teacher in Rochester and Romeo Michigan.  She has been a choreographer for Rochester Summer Music Theatre where she was a student under Dr. Timothy Lentz for many years. Since 2009, she now returns to help run the program along with its fundraisers for over 100 students. She has helped Choreograph and Assistant direct Newsies, Shrek, Aida, Seuessical, Joseph, and many projects throughout the summer.

She has been a teacher of dance as well in local studios for recreation and competition. Her choreography and students have won awards across the country.

During 2021, while substitute teaching, she got to Choreograph You're A Good Man Charlie Brown for Rochester Adams Highschool as their first show back after the shutdown.
